Done! ...some stuff

So, while the comics are still in their temporary break I've been working on content and putting together the Triangle Dude book. It's coming along well, and as you may or may not know if you've been or may not have been following along in the blog that I've been coloring all the Triangle Dude characters. They'll be making appearances in the book, but I've also arranged them all onto a poster in the meantime.

There's a shot of the whole thing...

and there's a close up from a section of it!

Also, Zazzle, the company which handles printing and shipping of Triangle Dude merchandise and my other designs has introduced a host of new items. There's puzzles, plates, pillows, and more, oh my! I've added some other new things, like this awesome and ever appropriate plate. If there's any design anyone wants on any particular item, like a mug, or etc. just send me a message! Now back to work!

Om Nom Dude

I put a new Triangle Dude design up in the Shop! It is a very hungry dude willing to eat just about anything you can toss into his enormous pie hole. Check it out in the store HERE

I really have fun drawing Triangle Dudes with giant gaping mouths carved out of the sides of their faces... there's just something silly and delightful about it.

Astronaut Design

I have a new design in the shop? Wow. It's been ages since I've done much art besides Triangle Dude drawing stuffs. I suppose I've been in the mood. I did a little doodley of an astronaut a week or two ago and liked the idea and way it looked. I decided I'd make a go at it and make it look more polished.

I'm happy with the result :) Skeletons are always cool to look at. I like to think there's some sort of crazy radiation or super light out there in space that's acting like an xray on the space explorer... exposing his inner workings. Anywho, here's a link! Astronaut Design.

Circular Cannibalism

A new design! Well golly gosh! It's been a while, and a Triangle Dude one to boot.

I've had a sketch of this for a month or two now and I've finally had time to get around and do it! I call it, "Circular Cannibalism," though, I'm not really sure if they actually are trying to eat each other or are rather just escaping from the other's mouth. A bit of both perhaps.

Anywho, click for a larger look and Click Here to take a look at it in Shop Vorgus.

The Short-Lived Adventures of the "S.S.Gets Attacked by Octopus"

Well it's been a bit of a busy week, and I wasn't able to get this up on Friday - it just took a good chunk of time to do!

But 'tis here now... The Short-Lived Adventures of the "S.S.Gets Attacked By Octopus".

Yes... Another horrible name for a ship.

You can find the design over at Shop Vorgus as well... right Here!

Triangle Dude is a Prism

Triangle Dude, being all triangle and such, makes a perfect prism! He has the power! The power to split light into an array of colors... or perhaps take all those colors and create a blinding white light instead! Either way he is a deadly force to be reckoned with. Unfortunately, color blind people are immune to his dastardly light manipulating ways.

What a most amazing ability though. High school science teachers will be out hunting for Triangle Dudes if they get wind of this.

"Triangle Dude is a Prism"

He has the power, and I have the power to put this design up on Shop Vorgus. Enjoy Prism Power!

Summer

"Summer" is here! June 1st. It is now official. Say hello to sunshine and water and heat and sweat and being cooked alive. It's going to be great.

Today's comic is also available in Shop Vorgus on a Poster and a Mouse Pad. Check out the new summer items at Shop Vorgus.

Here's the comic/poster design for your viewing pleasure. Once again, ignore the water mark on this image :P

Be sure to check out the Downloads page at Triangle Dude Comics as well. This is now totally available as a wallpaper for your desktop!

New Triangle Dude Designs

Yay! It's been quite some time since I've added new designs to Shop Vorgus and I'm happy to say that they are Triangle Dude designs!

There isn't a whole lot of variety when it comes to choosing a shirt so I've finally managed to add some more variety. Two new designs in fact! Each design is based on a comic from the site - they are Potential and Lazy.

Click on the pictures below to get a larger view of the new designs. Oh, and don't worry about that watermark of Vorgus, it isn't on the actual product. :P

You can find the designs in the Triangle Dude section at Shop Vorgus!

Sound Effects

Zoom, Zip, Zap-a-dap - shreeeeeeem shra shroom a gry gry gry... KABLOOIE! SHREARRrrrrrr.... Grk...

Haha, making noises is fun! Anyways, Triangle Dude thinks it's pretty fun too - as
you will be able to see from the new comic up today called "Sound Effects".

Also, this comic (slightly altered and made improved!) is also available on some products over at Shop Vorgus. Check out the designs for "Sound Effects" at Shop Vorgus. Amazingly, to my surprise, the mug with this design on it actually won a "Today's Best" award. This makes David happy :D

Here's a look at the design... which is essentially the same as the link to the comic at the top...

My IQ is Off the Richter Scale

So I've got a new design up at Shop Vorgus.
It's based on the awesome Richter Scale - a scale used for measuring the intensity of earthquakes and other seismic activity.

Now the Richter Scale only goes up to 10... I'm pretty sure that if you're reading this your IQ is waAAAaaAAaAAAYyyy... above the Richter Scale. It's still fun to say though. "My IQ is Off the Richter Scale".

It's Moon Time

It's Moon Time... yes, you heard me. If you operate on "moon time" you may or may not experience daily events at an increased or decreased speed. It has something to do with the fact that the gravity on the moon is about 1/6 the Earth's. This means time flies on the moon with a lighter affect of gravity. Is it faster... or slower?

Astronauts seen jumping on the moon tend to experience a slower rate of motion suggesting the decreased speed side of the argument is right. Also, science suggests that with a lower gravity objects will travel a greater distance before coming to a stop due to the gravity and the ground. Objects appear to be suspended for a greater length of time once again backing the slower time theory, but skeptics still remain. You decide...

Also, it's just fun to say "It's Moon Time!" and have people wonder what the heck you're talking about. The new design is up in Shop Vorgus, or check out the design directly at "It's Moon Time."

The Other Pill - Poster

It's been a little while. 1 part lazy and 2 parts no time by me, but I'm back! Triangle Dude Comics is picking up a little steam and I've added a downloads section to the menu. Currently there is only one download - a desktop wallpaper. The wallpaper features the last frame of the comic "The Other Pill," which is about Morpheus taking a different kind of pill. That same wallpaper has been made into a poster on Shop Vorgus. Check out "The Other Pill" Poster.

Now as I said there's currently only one wallpaper in the new download section of Triangle Dude Comics, but this new section opens the door to more possible wallpapers and "what-have-you" in the future. Check out the Triangle Dude Downloads section.

Squidoo and Lenses

I tried a new thing the other day! Squidoo! It's this cool little site that makes it easy for people to create "lenses" or pages/articles about pretty much whatever you want. I've made a lens for Shop Vorgus and one for Triangle Dude Comics. There is a wealth of information here on probably any topic imagineable. I've got an idea to do a Tips and Tricks Lens for Roller Coaster Tycoon (yeah, I got back into that game... addictive).

A little more about lenses: They're really easy to make. There's a quick set up pipeline to get one started, and then afterwards you can edit them as much as you want. By choosing from different little sections or blocks (say a picture block, and a text block, a list block, etc.) you can piece together your "lens." It's pretty fun and the neat thing is you can actually make a little bit of money. Don't go expecting to get rich or anything though, but with enough hard work you might make a few bucks here and there.

Long Live the Cartridge

I'll always remember my childhood days and how most of them revolved around some sort of video game. *Nostalgia* "Sigh." Anyways, this is my tribute to the good ole' days of video games. The days of fewer buttons and cartridges. The design features the amazing cartridges for the NES, SNES, N64, Game Boy, and Game Boy Advance. Yes, I picked all Nintendo cartridges (sorry Sega and Atari and whatever else had cartridges), but it's really more about the spirit of the cartridge! The NES cartridge is proudly wearing its robe and crown. "LONG LIVE THE CARTRIDGE!"
You can find the design (there's two different kinds) over at Shop Vorgus.

My Igloo

In anticipation for the hopefully coming snowfall this year I've been thinking a lot about igloos. My friends and I are going to build something amazing with the snow this year. Last year we decided to make a huge snowman... then a slide... and eventually just ended up with a large mound of snow we then proceeded to destroy. Great fun! This year there was talk about another giant snowman, mound, and possibly an igloo. If we made a huge igloo that would be super sweet.

Anyways, all this igloo thinking inspired me to make some sort of igloo design. I hope you guys like it! The design is on a T-Shirt, Mouse Pad, and a Tote Bag at the moment over at Shop Vorgus.

Heart is Where the Home is

I've been working on an older drawing lately - finally making it all colorful! Huzzah! The drawing plays on the phrase "Home is where the heart is" by switching the heart and the home around. This would make for one messy house. I worked on it for about 8 hours in all maybe. It wasn't being timed so that's really just a guesstimate. Anyways, I'm fairly happy with the way it turned out... and without any further waiting - here it is!

You can also catch the new picture on some products over at Shop Vorgus in the Everything Else category.
