Ghost and Fleshy are back!

Almost Halloweenie-eenie-meenie-miney-mooo-ween! Which means there's still some more Ghost and Fleshy on the way, and then... who knows. But I'm sure they'll be back! Who doesn't love a loveable murderous ghost now and again!?

So here's #5 and #6.

Also, I'm a day late. My apologies! Tuesdays comic came out on Wednesday, but only because the power decided to go out and murder my computer... 3 days later, I'm back up to speed! Gah...

Zombies on the Brain

So I got zombies on the brain - can you blame me? Zombieland and Halloween and all the specials and shows on TV. It's a prime time for zombies.

Look how productive I am at work.

Okay... I was on my break - so this doesn't really show my productivity at all. It is the future of apocalyptic travel though.

TDComics YO

I still don't know what to be for Halloween... part of it might be that I don't really feel like dressing up this year, part of it might be that I don't really feel like spending money on a costume this year, part of it might be that I don't really feel like being in an uncomfortable costume for a whole night, and part of it is mostly because I'm lazy - and I make a perfectly good hippie.

Fleshy, in "Ghost and Fleshy 4" can't decide what to be either.

AND! A break from Ghost and Fleshy comes "Home Pregnancy Test" which I actually didn't make on the computer! It's a hand drawn, inked, and colored comic - fairly exciting! This opens up some opportunities... opportunities for say... something, but I'm sure they're there.

Ghost and Fleshy will return this Friday :D

And can you believe it, I'm almost at comic 200. YES.

Task Coach

I like to make lists. Lists of things that I have to do. If I don't write what I have to do on my list - there's a good chance I'll forget it, or worry about forgetting it, or just neglect to even do it. My desk, for a while, had numerous sheets of paper with little notes and lists of things to look up or remember to do etc. etc. all written all over them. Kind of mess, but it worked... sort of.

Recently I came across Task Coach. It's awesome. I can keep track of everything I need to do, stuff I want to do, set up recurring tasks, organize them all, check them off, annnnd the best part is it's also a portable application, and free! Meaning... I can stick it on my usb drive and take it all over - mainly to school and back home.

Another really handy portable app I found is AllwaySync'n'Go. There's totally a portable version to download at the bottom of the link. It's FREE, and it's pretty easy to use. It's nice to be able to use it at home or at school and make sure I always have up-to-date backups (3!) of my schoolwork.

School Doodles

Well there goes another week of... DRAFTING SCHOOL! And how does it go? Well good, very good thank you, thank you for asking. So good in fact that I'll even let you see a page from my notebook - my very professional notebook with many professional notes...

Okay, so the notebook lacks any actual notes, this page anyway, but I assure you they are there! Notes about foundation walls and footings and frost depth and how to attach your foundation to a sill plate and not destroy your neighbors house. Good stuff. Now here's another page...

Oh... well this isn't notes either I suppose. Can you guess what movie I was waiting to go see after school today? I'll give you a hint - zombies from sort of a land. Okay so it was Zombieland, and it was pretty freakin' awesome!

Watercolors! New Project!

Yes! I've finally opened those watercolors that have been sitting in front of me for over a month now. I'm overly excited to start using them and and and I do have couple little things I already made with them.

A face that might be me if I had shorter hair... and some kind of hat to put on my head.

Then there's this silly dude. Does acting like a robot in the presence of the human population defeat the purpose of acting casual? I suspect yes - but I don't care.

And this! This isn't an actual watercolor painting or anything of any sort yet, but it is a basic idea of what I want to make. I put this together on Photoshop and it shows the kind of feel and idea and colors I'm going for. Words. I want to incorporate some words into the piece - I just finished reading "Understanding Comics" (a most amazing book) and I wanted to do some of the things I learned from it. One thing being the incorporation of words and pictures in different effects to really direct and compose an idea... something like that - whatever lol.

The finished piece will probably look different, but this is the "general" idea.

Sneeze Fork

Ow.

Sneeze Knife? Possible more ow.

What does this have to do with anything? You be the judge!

"Sneezing," and "Forked Lightning."
